12-piece Bag: $21; This product is for HOLIDAY ORDERS ONLY.

In Southern Italy, cookies are ubiquitous with the Holiday season.  Traditional cookies are baked in every home and visitors would never show up for a Holiday visit without a festive tray of cookies.  The Cucidati truffle takes it's inspiration from a Sicilian fig cookie of the same name.  The cookie wraps a spiced fig filling with tender pastry and it's this same filling of figs, fragrant allspice and cinnamon, candied orange peel, honey and raisins that forms the basis for a rich ganache hand rolled in 61% dark chocolate, finished in pure cocoa powder. The recipe for the original cookies has been handed down through generations and Master Chocolatier Amy Jo produces these special treats once a year during the holidays as an homage to her Sicilian Heritage.

For optimal freshness, all Holiday shipped orders will be mailed USPS on Wednesday, Dec. 12th with Local orders available for pick up Monday, Dec. 17th at The Hood Kitchen Space (350 Clinton St, Costa Mesa). If you need earlier, please let us know within special instructions comment box during checkout.
